Pay-to-Call

Pay-to-Call — the payment rail for AI agent phone calls. Businesses get paid to answer. Agents pay per call in USDC on Base L2. We move the money, not the voice — bring your own phone line (Bland, Twilio, anything).

How it works

1

Register a line and a price

A business posts its name, number, wallet, and a per-call rate. The number stays off the public directory.

2

The agent pays per call

An unpaid start is HTTP 402. The agent pays that rate in USDC on Base through the facilitator.

3

The number is revealed after payment

Only a settled call returns the phone number and the business endpoint. Bring your own voice provider.

4

The business wallet is paid

Settlement queues a disbursement. The business wallet is paid automatically, net of the rail fee.

Paid calls cannot be spam

A call that costs money is a call a spammer will not place. Unpaid requests never learn the number. The price is the filter: agents that will not pay do not get through, and the line only rings for callers who already settled.

Live directory

Phone numbers are hidden until a call is paid. Connect asks the rail to start a call. A browser is not a payer, so the rail answers 402 and names the facilitator. An agent retries with a payment header.

For agents

All routes live under /pay-to-call/api/. A bad body or an unknown business is HTTP 422 and is not charged. A known business without a payment is HTTP 402.
